This month, we’d love you to connect with Chanel Rhodes, a powerhouse entrepreneur and horsewoman from California with a passion for color and some serious creative talent! :)
SE: Tell us all about the horses in your life! When did you begin working with each of them?
CR: I am a working student for a hunter/jumper program called Mountain View Farm (MVF). I own two horses and there are several horses in my life. I usually work with 10-12 horses, depending on the clientele amount. I mostly work with Off The Track Thoroughbreds and a few quarter horses. Below are the details of my two horses.
“Lady”, 14 year old Tobiana mare: Lady does hunters, jumpers, barrels, gymkhanas, trail rides, works as a lesson horse, photo-shoots, and stunt horse work. This mare is my best friend and partner. She has a heart of gold and is a total ham in front of the camera. On one of our last shoots, a producer said that she is one of the most well behaved horses that he has ever seen in front of large flashing cameras.
